USA HOCKEY: PLAYERS TO WATCH AT USAH NATIONALS

Find out which players we believe deserve a close look at USA Hockey's National Tournaments this week.


Every August, over 120 Tier I AAA hockey organizations started competing for the opportunity to play in the USA Hockey National Tournament. This week, the best 16 at the U13, U14, U15, U16, and U18 levels will meet in spots throughout the United States, and challenge each other for the coveted 'Natty Title.'


Our focus in this write-up will not be on the teams, however. We will get to that later in the week. Today, we want to focus on the prospects who deserve extra attention during tournament play. Scouts will be out in numbers between the U18 and U16 games in Las Vegas, and the U15s in Fargo. Some 17- and 18-year-old prospects are vying for draft selections this June, along with college commitments, while the 15- and 16- year old's are attempting to impress USHL clubs and school coaches.
